OffCourse: A recorded run shows 20 minutes instead of the expected 45. The teacher connects the current code to an imported collections lesson and asks what happens when the same student appears twice. It suggests tracing two events. The learner changes assignment to accumulation and runs the code again, getting 45 minutes.

Architect: A campus activity finder starts with an observation: students hear about events too late. With selected API lessons and reflections as context, Architect asks who misses out and how they find events now. It proposes talking to three students, prototyping one event feed, and testing it with a student. The learner chooses what to build.

Find your way
through the hard part.

Your course teacher and coding guide. OffCourse connects the lesson, your attempt, and your recorded runs to help you reason out the next step.

  • Each course keeps its own sources and conversation.
  • Course answers cite the material you explicitly import.
  • Progressive hints help you predict, try, and check.
  • Practice invitations connect learning to projects and suitable public issues.

It works for one event. The second event replaces the total.

What should happen to the existing total when that user appears again?

Trace two events on paper. Compare the value before and after the second update.

Give your idea
somewhere to go.

A separate software architect for your ideas. Connect what you’re learning to a useful problem, make the tradeoffs clear, and find the smallest experiment worth building.

  • Your idea notebook and project decisions have their own memory.
  • Share context from selected courses explicitly.
  • Opt into notes drawn from saved reflections.
  • Revisit the problem, users, constraints, and next decision as the idea grows.
